THE THOMPSON CASE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, May 28. Harold York Thompson, who was brought back from Adelaide, appeared iu the city court to-day charged with uttering a forged instrument under the Real Property Act with intent to defraud. He was remanded until June 11, bail being allowed in the sum of £I,OOO. He was ordered to report daily to the police. Detective-sergeant Clifford gave evidence that the audit accounts were not completed, whereupon the police prosecutor told the court that Thompson had said the amount involved was between £3,000 and £4,000.
