ALBERTA BONDS
COMPULSORY RATE REDUCTION Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright EDMONTON, May 27. A compulsory reduction in the rate# of Alberta bonds, including savings certificates, to 2J per cent., which will take effect on June 1, is announced by the Provincial Treasurer, Mr Charles Cockroft. The reduction will save 3,000,000d0l annually. Authority for this action is given under Treasury bill legislation.
