‘TWO HEARTS IN HARMONY '

CATCHY MELODIES IN ST. JAMES Attraction With the present popularity in films of child stars, British International Pictures present for the first time a youngster who, it is claimed, is destined to live up to the examples that such world favourites as Shirley Temple, Freddie Bartholomew, and Jane Withers have already set. The screen’s new child prodigy is Paul Hartley, who plays the role of Bobby in ‘ Two Hearts in Harmony,’ starring Bernice Claire, delightful star of ‘ No, No, Nanette ’ and ‘ Song of the Flame,’ and George Curzon, popularly remembered for his striking performance in ‘ Scotland Yard Mystery.’ Paul Hartley, as the motherless son of a fickle peer, who finds in his governess the love that his childish soul demands, is instrumental in bringing these two together, and reaps the reward in a stirring climax, which will be revealed when the film is screened to-morrow at the St. James. Bernice Olaire is seen as a night club entertainer, which role is suitable to her versatility both as a singer and an actress. The possessor of a rich and melodious voice, she has also a charm and personality. Her songs include ‘ The Song Is the Same,’ a tender lullaby introduced in the child’s marionette show. Altogether, ‘ Two Hearts in Harmony ’ is a delightful romantic symphony that sparkles with laughter and happiness, pleasingly interwoven with an appealing story and music that should captivate everybody who sees the picture.
