Colonel It. C. T)’E. Snottiswoode, who died at his home at Gleumire, County Cork, recently at the fl,ge of 94, was in all probability the last combatant survivor of the Indian Mutiny. PTe kept his vigour of mind to the end, and only last year brought out a discursive volume of ‘ llominiscences ' for private circulation.
