An entertainment was given in the concert hall at the Talboys Home by the Merrymakers’ Concert Party, under the direction of Mr H. 0. Solomon. The following items were contributed : —Mr Dillon (Mlos), Mr Phillips (accordion solos), Mr Carey (musical saw), Mrs Oliver (Scotch songs). Mr Jones ’(songs), Mrs Caldwell (Scotch songs), Mr and Mrs Bowie (piano and comet duet), Mr Allpress (humorous sketch), Mrs Scott (song), Mr Andrews and Mrs Black (Scotch duet), Mr White (solos), Mr Andrews (song), Mrs Black (recitation), Mr Andrews (humorous sketch), Mr Andrews and Miss Steadman (duet), Miss Steadman (song). The accompaniments were played by Mrs Stevens.
