'TOO TOUGH TO KILL'
STRAND'S FINE ATTRACTION' * Too _ Tough to Kill,’ a Columbia fast-action drama of tunnel construotion in the Sierra Nevadas, featuring Victor .Tory and Sally O’Neill, open* at the Strand to-morrow. Land-slides, cave-ins, and dynamite-death are intermingled in this fast-paced story of an engineer in charge of the construction work. The supporting cast include* Thurston Hall, Ward Bond, Gene Morgan, Frank Rice, Robert Gleckler, and Johnny Arthur. The film is a pictorial dramatisation of the gigantic Colorado Aqueduct project now in the process of construction. This film was unusually costly. to produce, because as most of the action in the picture takes place inside a hundreds of feet inside the earth, it was necessary to lay railroad tracks along the floor - of the tunnel and bring in the Mieg lights, cameras, and other needed equipment by means of a miniature railroad system. Towards the conclusion the story rises to a dramatic climax that thoroughly convincing and thrilling.The splendid acting of both Victor Jpr.V and Sallv O’Neill is deserving of nigh, praise..
