RECKLESS DRIVING CAUSING DEATH
DENTIST FOUND GUILTY [Pee United Press Association.] HASTINGS, May 19. A verdict of guilty on all counts was returned this afternoon by the jury empanelled to try Moss Wylie, a dentist, of Hastings, on charges of reckless driving causing death, and reckless driving causing bodily injury at Awatoto on Easter Monday. Wylie was remanded for sentence until Saturday. ■ The case for the defence, which occupied the greater part of the day, was that the accused was not travelling at au excessive speed, that his par was on the correct side of the road, and that neither the accused nor the passenger saw anything of the approaching car until it was right on them.
