BROMWICH OUTPLAYS TURNBULL SOUTH AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright ADELAIDE. March 15. The final of the South Australian lawn tennis championships resulted as follows: Men’s Singles.—J. Bromwich defeated D. Turnbull, 6-2, 11-9, 6-1. Men’s Doubles.—L. Schwartz and G. Hone defeated Bromwich and N. Turvey, 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, 4 : 6, 6-2. Women’s Singles.—Miss N. Wynne defeated Mrs Hopman, 6-3, 6-2. Bromwich hit unerringly. His sideline shots and volleys were perfectly executed, and he moved about the court at an amazing pace, completely outplaying Turnbull.
