WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIPS [Per United Press Association.! WELLLINGTON, March 2. In the surf life-saving championships of the Wellington province, decided at Island Bay, the Lyall Bay A team won the silver reel for the Wellington sixman championship, Maranui being second, and Lyall Bay B third. R. Pelham (Lyall Bay) won the provincial beltman’s championship, with his clubmatc Blakely second and Claridge (Maranui) third. Lyall Bay A also won the four-man team competition for the Waller Cup.
