BIBLE CLASS FETE
A successful garden fete was held by the Presbyterian Young Men’s Bible classes in Mr H. .1. Guthrie’s beautiful grounds at Anderson’s Bay on Saturday afternoon, for the purpose of providing funds for the Bible class camp at Wylie’s Crossing. The fete was largely attended, and the various stalls and amusements received good support, the light, misty showers which fell during the afternoon failing to detract from the success of the effort. The stalls included an Aunt Sally, cake and afternoon ten booths, conducted by the Anderson’s Bay class, a picture entertainment in which the scenic attractions of New Zealand were featured being controlled by the Roslyn class, while the St. Clair class was in charge of a museum, and the Caversham class supervised the competitions. The .lohn M'Glashan College Pipe Band was in attendance and provided selections during iho afternoon.
