WEEK-END PASSENGERS The Union airliner Kotuku left Taieri Airport at 11.30 to-day with the Allowing passengers:—Mr K. M‘K. Melville (for Wellington), Mr F. K. M'Farlane (for Christchurch). . The south-bound airliner, the Konmako, arrived at 12.60 p.m. 'vifh on® passenger from the north, Mr Chatterton (from Wellington). . ' The Korimako leaves Taieri at 11.30 to-morrow morning with Messrs H. J. Hastie, P. Bowie, and J. B. Chrystal (for Blenheim).
SPECIAL FLIGHT TO-MORROW. A Union airliner will leave the Taieri airport to-morrow for a special trip to Christchurch, in order to participate in the joy-riding, which is being held to assist the Squadron-leader M'Gregor benefit fund. The plane will leave the Taieri at 1.30 p.m., and arrive at Christchurch one and a-half hours later. The airliner will leave Wigram at 5.45, arriving back at the Taieri at approximately 7.15 p.m. A car will leave the Union Company s office at 12.45 to-morrow and carry passengers to the aerodrome free. A total of 12 passengers can be taken. Persons intending to make the trip should ring 18-066.
