SCHOOL SWIMMING
TIME-TABLE FOR YEAR APPROVED The draft time-table for the primary and secondary schools’ swimming classes at the Tepid Baths for the current year has been approved by the General Committee of the City Council In addition to the Girls’ High School, Technical College, public schools, and denominational schools within the city area, the schedule provides for classes from the Boys’ Brigadc, Boy Scouts* Association, and the 1 rippled Children’s Society. In the last-mentioned case it has beer, decided that, in view of the very special claims of the crippled children, the class be admitted to the baths without charge. An. application for the admission of classes from the Dunedin North Intermediate School has also been considered, but, in view of the fact that all afternoon hours have already been allotted to schools which have used the baths for some years, the applicants have been advised that morning hours only, with the exception of Saturdays, are available.
