| COST TO THE STATE press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, February 25. King George’s funeral cost £25,000, bccordmg to the Supplementary Estimates. This included entertainment of royal and other guests from overseas, funeral furnishings, mourning allowances for servants, hire of cars, and. railway expenses, £7,000; travelling land subsistence for naval officers and men, £5,000:, ditto military and Territorials, £6,000; expenses at Westminster Hall, St. George’s Chapel, and on the route, £3,000; sundries, including expenses of the Earl Marshal’s fctaff, stationery and printing, £3,740.
