MARAMA’S PASSENGERS
MILFORD SOUND VISITED SECOND LAST TRIP OF SEASON The Manama, on her second-last run of the season from Melbourne, arrived in Dunedin early this morning. She brought approximately 150 passengers, and she also carries transhipments of cargo from the Orontes, Mooltan, Taroona. Esquilino. Mehskerk, Atsuta Maru, Ramo Maru, Edina, and Moldavia. The Manama left Melbourne on Wednesday and called at Milford Sound at 6 o’clock on Saturday night, when the passengers obtained a wonderful' view of the scenic glories of the sound. Four passengers disembarked at Milford Sound to walk the track, while three passengers joined the ship. Bluff w?s reached on Sunday afternoon, and left at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. for Dunedin, where she arrived a little before 8 o’clock this morning. She is berthed at the cross wharf, and is to sail to-morrow afternoon for Lyttelton, Wellington, Bluff, and Melbourne.
The voyage from Melbourne was an uneventful one, the days passing pleasantly on board ship. She carried several round-trip passengers.
