SURF REPORT
STATE OF BEACHES The variable weather of the last! week has had its effect upon the condition of the local beaches, and with the exception of St. Hilda the beaches are not in quite such good state •as they have been recently. . There is a slight sea running at Tomahawk, and the beach is full of holes, that portion of the beach east from Lawyer’s Head to the first flag being particularly dangerous. Bathersare yvarned to exercise extreme care and to rigidly observe the request t*> keep between the, flags. The St. Kilda beach is in fairly good condition, but at St. Clair a good deal of sand has been swept away, and there are a few holes. The temperature of the water locally is quite mild*
