FLOOD ANXIETY
HEAVY RAINS IN BRITAIN THAMES RUNNING HIGH (British Official tireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, January 31. (Received February 1, at noon.) The recent heavy rains and the prospect ol further falls have renewed the anxiety in regard to floods in various .parts cf Britain. A considerable rise in the Thames above Teddington was reported yesterday, and, at some places the river is over its banks. In the Medway Valley several roads are under water and are impassable.
