Mrs Gambrill eliminated the Auckland champion, Mrs Thomson, from the Women’s Championship, after a splendid game, 26-17. H. P. Stratton beat F. L. Hartnell in the final of the Men’s Championship (second life), 26-18. Mrs Williams (Marton) annexed the Level Singles from Mrs Meikle (Te Aroha) in two straight games, 26-18, 26-13. Results:—• MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP. —Final.— H. P. Stratton beat F. L. Hartnell, 26-18. CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLES. —Third Round.— A. G. F. Ross and Mrs Watkins beat H. Penn and Mrs Palmer, 26-14. LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. —First Life (Third Round). — Mrs Brass beat Mrs Kibblewhite, 26-6. Miss Skeet beat Mrs Petrie, 26-18. —Second Life (Second Round). — ’ Mrs Thomson beat Mrs Clark, 26-16. —Third Round.— Mrs Watkins beat Mrs Henderson, 26-11. Mrs Gambrill beat Mrs Thomson, 26-17.
