TRANSPORT PROBLEMS
CONFERENCE OF DEPARTMENTAL HEADS [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, January 28. A conference of heads of the State Departments concerned in transport matters has been called by the Minister of Transport (Mr R. Semple) for tomorroiv. The main purpose of the conference will bo to have a preliminary discussion of the problems involved, and to draw up an agenda paper for the genera! conference of all transport interests that it is proposed to convene a little later. “ The whole question of transport,” stated tlie Minister to-day, “is bristling with difficulties and anomalies that will have to be straightened out.”
