COMEDY AND DRAMA

TWO GOOD FILMS FOR STRAND For ludicrous situations and hilarious action ‘ She Gets Her Man,’ which heads the coming attractions at the Strand, , could hardly be bettered. Zasu Pitts and Hugh O’Connell aro costarred in this rollicking screen play, which attacks the gangster problem with tongue in cheek and furnishes a solution of the whole problem that is as startling as it is humorous. As Esmeralda, the accidental heroine of the story, the fluttery Miss Pitts has never heen seen to better advantage. Hugh O’Connell, noted stage comedian, 'who has become her new team mate, complements her lackadaisical humour in grand style, and goes to make up a comedy duo that is a sure guarantee of laughs. Others who add greatly to the delightful comedy of the picture are Helen Twelvetrees (who emerges with an entirely new personality), Lucien Littlefield, Eddie Brophy, Warren Hymer, Gertrude Astor, and Bert Gordon. Shown on the same programme will be ‘ Men of the Hour,’ an exciting film, starring Richard Cromwell and Wallace Todd.
