AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS fIUIST WINS AGAIN—FOUR TITLES THIS SEASON ADELAIDE, January 27. In the final of the men’s singles at the Australian championships Quist defeated Crawford, 6-2, 6-3, 4-6, 3-6, 9-7.' The women’s singles final was won by Miss Joan Hartigan, who defeated Miss N. Wynne (Victoria), 6-4, 6-4. Crawford was out of touch, and missed easy shots. He often appeared to be rattled. Quist won brilliantly and has this season won four titles—the New South Wales, Queensland, Victorian, and Australian championships. In the women’s doubles final Misses Coyne and Wynne defeated Misses Blick and Woodward, 6-2, 6-4.-Cl. GRADE In the Otago Association match Kaituna, 9 sets (96 games), beat Macaurew Bay, 7 Sets (88 games). CRICKET The following is the draw for Saturday:— A Grade. —Grange v.
