GREEK ELECTIONS
HEAVY POLL INDICATED TWO MAIN PARTIES Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright ATHENS, January 26. (Received January 27, at 10 a.m.) The country is polling peacefully. The main contests are between the Popular headed by M. Tsaldaris,
and the Yenizelos Party, headed by M. Sophoulos. None of the late Ministers is a condidate. A heavy poll in indicated.
Officers are supporting the Venizelists. M. Kondylis is _ believed to bo eager to seize power if the elections are unfavourable to them. Troops are ready to quell any outbreak.
