Karu is to sail this evening for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via ports. Wingatui is to sail this evening for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Waimarino is due from Auckland on Wednesday and is to sail the same day for Bluff. Waipiata is to leave Auckland on>Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, an’d Bluff. She is due on Wednesday. The interisland express steamer Wallin© leached Lyttelton from Wellington at 7 a.m. yesterday.

LOCH LOMOND AT WELLINGTON. The Union Company’s chartered steamer Loch Lomond arrived at Wellington on Saturday from Auckland to complete discharge of her Vancouver cargo. With the exception of the first week of her voyage from North America, the vessel experienced fine weather. The Loch - Lomond is a single screw coal-burning steamer, built in 1934, and is making her first visit to New Zealand. She is to complete discharge in Australia. ; CITY OF DIEPPE COMING, Advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the City of Dieppe left Halifax on December 27, Paulsboro on January 1, New York on January 10, and Newport News oh January 12 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about February 10, and Dunedin, about February 24. CAPE YORK FROM PACIFIC COAST. After loading on the Pacific Coast for New Zealand and Australian ports, the Union Company’s chartered freighter Cape York was to leave Los Angeles on January 24 for Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia via Apia. MANJU MARU ARRIVES. The Japanese, steamer Manju Maru, the first of the vessels belonging to the Yamashita Kisen Kaisha Line to operate in the direct service between Japan, and New Zealand, arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning. She was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge a quanaity of Eastern cargo and December 27, and experienced rough. weather for the first week of the voyage. The remainder of the passage was fine, until nearing the coast. The steamer brought to Dunedin a varied cargo of silk, porcelain, and fancy goods. The Manju Maru is one of 30 vessels operated by the Yamashita Kisen Kaisha, and vessels of that line will call at main New Zealand ports each month. The next will be the Chifuku Maru, due next month, to be followed by the Aeifuku Maru in March. The Manju Maru is to sail to-day for Wellington and Auckland to complete loading for Japan. lONIC AWAY. The Shaw, Savill liner lonic, after discharging London cargo and loading produce, left Port Chalmers on Saturday afternoon for Bluff to continue loading. She will complete* at Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington, and will leave the lastmamed port .iit daybreak on February 6 for' Southampton and London via Panama. NARDANA ON WEDNESDAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that 'the Nardana is due from New York via northern ports on Wednesday. After discharge at-this poi’t she will proceed to Sydney. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR COMING. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. announce that the Canadian Constructor is due from Montreal via ports on Wednesday. She is to sail the same day for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland, and is to leave the last-named port on February 4 for New York, Boston, and' Halifax. OMANA FROM .SOUTH AUSTRALIA. ' The Union Company reports that the Omana after loading at Edithburg and Adelaide, is to leave the latter port on February 1 for Auckland, Portland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.
