NEW ZEALANDERS' FINAL APPEARANCE MELBOURNE, January 26. Mathieson and Jarvis were .unsuccessful in their final appearance at Melbourne on Saturday. In the Victorian 220 Yards Freestyle Championship they finished equal for fifth place. The title was won by Alan Crawford* Time, 2min 28sec.
