IMPROVED STATE DF BEACHES The winds of the past week have had their effect on the local beaches, but these have improved during the last few; days, and should be in good condition for bathing- over the week-end, though! in all cases bathers are strongly warned to keep between the flags which are, of course, placed: in the ■ safest parts of the The St. Clair beach; is-in good order# and the sand is now coming hack# There is a channel off shore which it filling in now..
