“ WANTED, A HUSBAND.”
TO THE EDITOR. "
Sir, —As. a student of psychology, I would very much like to read tlie views of readers interested in the above subject, I cannot understand why the application of a London girl for a man who is not only willing to marry her but also to live with his mother-in-law, should meet with such marked success. On top of this, the bashful applicant asks for a free journey for self and mother. There are plenty of fine New Zealand girls on the matrimonial market.' These, moreover, would not burden their husbands with a mother-in-law. Trusting that some of your readers will answer my plea,—l am, etc., Curious. January 10.
