BEACH PICNICS FOR CHILDREN DF UNEMPLOYED The beach picnics at St. Clair for the children of the unemployed will commence on Saturday, January 18; and conclude on Monday, February 3. ; , Free tram tickets and beach tickets for the supply of cordials, biscuits, ice cream, and sweets for the children will be issued from the central office; 24a George street (above (Hannah’s boot shop) from Monday, January 13, till Saturday, January 18. Depot cards must be produced when application .is. made for the tickets. Where it is necessary for the children to be accompanied by one of their parents, the tram ticket will be issued for one adult r for each family. Mrs M‘Arthur will be in attendance daily on the St. Clair beach, and children may leave ■ their . ’ beach tickets in her care_ on arrival at the beach, their name being written on the back of the ticket. Hot water and milk will be available every day, during the currency of the picnics.
