TWA SCHOOLMATES' DUEL ONE EXCHANGE OF SHOTS Prws Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PATHS; January 8. A real duel was fought at Pare des Princes between two former schoolfellows, now members of a fashionable circle, says ‘Lo Soir.’ It gives the names as Jacques Dourdin and Fred Angel, aged about 25, and says the quarrel arose from an alleged slander. It was arranged that there should be two exchanges of shots, but one was sufficient, as Dourdin fell with at bullet in his hip'. He was rushed to a nursing home, where an operation was performed. A priest stood at the park gates in case of the need of absolution. A well-dressed young woman was also at the gates. When questioned she replied it was a question of honour. There was no woman involved.
