BEACHES IN FINE WTOER All the beaches around Dunedin are in good order at the present time, and the mildness of the water has attracted large crowds at all the seaside resorts near the city. It is a long time since the St. Hilda Beach was in better order than it has been ogpr the present holiday period. The sea is smooth, wateb warm, and there is an absence of rip. The St. Clair Beach is more settled just now than it has been at any time this season, and it has been patronised by thousands of persons over the holidays. It is safer now than at any other time this season. The Tomahawk Beach has been in very good order all this season, but bathers are warned to keep between the flags towards Smaill’s Head.
