AUCKLAND WOOL SALES
ABNORMAL OFFERINGS FROM GROWERS [Special to the ‘ Star.’] AUCKLAND, December 14. Catalogues for the second Auckland wool sale will close to-day, over a month before the date of the .sale (January 21). This is an unusual procedure due ■ to the abnormal rush of wool to the city stores following the fine weather experienced recently. Many growers who might have offered their clips at the first auction were unable to do so, and as a result of representations made to the Wool Committee by the Auckland wool brokers the catalogue limit for the second sale has been increased from 25,000 Jiales to 28,000 bales.
