LATEST ESTIMATES (British Official Wireless.) Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, December 9. According to the Ministry of Labour estimates at November 25, there were approximately 10,537,000 insured persons, aged 16 to 64, in employment in Britain. This was 45,000 more than at October 21 and 315,000 more than a year before. The number of unemployed persons on the register in Britain at the same date totalled 1,918,562, comprising 1,617,237_ wholly unemployed, 221,443 temporarily laid off, and 79,882 normally in casual emi ployment. The total was 2,172 more than at October 21, but 202,223 fewer than a year before.
