ANNUAL SALE OF WORK There was a fairly large attendance at the 'opening of All Saints’ Church f , annual sale of work this morning, ’ when the Hon. W. _ Downie Stewart, in a happy speech, wished the fair every success. * t . The following is the list of stalls and stallholders. Guild. —Mescfames Russell Ritchie, Moore, and Miss Scott. Gifts.—Mesdames Lilly and Whyte. Variety.—Mesdames Robertson and Jones. .Produce.—Mesdames Harman Reeves, M’Kenzie, and Cook. Flowers.—Misses M. Reeves, Thompson, and J; Ritchie. i Refreshments.—Mesdames Williams, M‘Lennan, Farr, and Miss Mirams and assistants. Christmas Tree.—Misses M. Ritchie and.J. Reeves. : Ice creams.—Mr A. W. Ritchie. 'Amongst the other workers present was Miss 6. Davidson, who has been secretary and treasurer of the Ladies’
Guild for the past 31 years. The fair will be continued this evening, when four/well-known Timaru performers—Dr Unwin, Messrs S. Razzle Wood, W. T. Ritchie, and G. Grainger will present a pliy as part of the evening’s entertainment.
