AMERICA'S PUBLIC DEBT
FURTHER INCREASE PROPOSED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright WASHINGTON, December 1. (Received December 3, at 1 a.m.) The Treasury Department has announced financing operations which for the first time in history will raise the public debt above the 30,000,000,000d0l mark. Most of the money will be raised by the sale of bonds and notes ranging from li to 2J per cent, interest. The public debt will then be 30,438,000,000d01.
