WALKER V. WONG BUK CHEUNG
To-morrow night’s contest is of interest because of the fact that it marks George Walker’s first appearance in Dunedin this season, and, secondly, because it is the first bout staged in this city by the South Island Amateur and Professional Athletic Club. This club intends staging wrestling in the South Island throughout the year. _ It has made arrangements for four highclass American wrestlers to arrive in New Zealand before Christmas. Wong will, no doubt, be remembered here for ’his displays given last year, and especially for his match against Dr Fred Mever. He has made a reputation for "'himself as a clean and fast worker. Walker needs little introduction to Dunedin enthusiasts, and he is generally dependable to provide a good bout. In Wong Buk Cheung he meets an opponent worthy of every consideration. This bout will not be broadcast. The box plans are at the D. 1.0., and women may reserve for any part of the hall for Is 6d. Day sales are at the Rialto.
