PIGEON FLYING
The Dunedin Homing Club Hew a flock race from Christchurch on Saturday last in fine weather with excellent flying conditions. Ninety birds from 16 ■lofts were liberated at 1 o’clock. The winning bird timed in at 5.30 p.m., flying 202 miles 350yds in 4J hours. The first five places are as follow:—J. Scoullar’s Sunspec (1,319.7) 1, D. Cunningham’s Sunbeam (1,316.7) 2, C. Ruxton’s Champion (1,315.7) 3, W. Hargreave’s Dundas Girl (1,313.9) 4, A. Goodman’s Bonnie Maid (1,312.9)
