Summer Cup, I,SOOsovs. 1m and 6f. —Sporting Blood (top weight) 9.4, Theo 8.13, Gay Blonde 8.7, Cherry King 7.12, Miss Nottava 7.11, Limyris, Gay Sheik 7.8, Loud Applause 7.4, Parquet 6.12, Cockpen 6.9. When Miss Nottava was injured at Randwick on April' 27 it was feared her racing days were over, but the severed tendon of a hind leg responded almost miraculously to the trainer Jack King’s treatment, and the mare is now training on well. A special crowshoe was employed to give her leg the necessary lift to enable the ends of the severed tendon to meet.
