GOVERNMENT HOUSE INVESTITURE FOUR DUNEDIN RECIPIENTS [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, December 2. Tlio Governor-General (Viscount Galway) held an investiture at Government House to-night, at which, he conferred the honour of knighthood upon Mr E. A. Ransom, investing him with the insignia of a Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished' Order of St. Michael and St. George. His Excellency also invested Majorgeneral Sir William Sinclair-Burgess with the insignia of Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, and he conferred upon Brigadier-general Sir Herbert Hart the honour of knighthood and Invested him with the insignia of the same Order. Later the Governor-General presented to Sir Francis Frazer the Royal Letters Patent conferring upon him the degree, title and dignity of a knight bachelor.
