THE WORSE FEARED Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, December 3. (Received December 3, at 1.5 p.m.) Not a trace has been found of the schooner Hermes. The Administrator of New Guinea fears the worst, as search by three vessels proved fruitless. [A message from Rnbaul on November 25 stated that anxiety was felt for the safety of the Administration’s schooner Hermes, which was considerably overdue from Madang with three whites and 17 natives aboard.]
