DEVELOPMENT IN AUSTRALIA Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, August l*>. Plans for development in Australia of a complete aircraft building industry, including the manufacture of engines, is being prepared by the Defence Department. The departmental secretary states that the Commonwealth has acquired the manufacturing rights of the Hawker Demon fighting machines and the Seagull Amphibians recently purchased in England.
