BRIDE TOO EARLY

LONDON SOCIETY WEDDING LONDON, July 25. Arriving at St. Paul’s Cathedral ten minutes early for her wedding. Miss Priscilla Woigall, daughter of a former Governor of South Australia, spent the interval sitting on a chair at the top of the steps, in view of a crowd on Ludgate Hill. More than a thousand guests were present, including ex-King George of Greece, Prince and Princess Arthur of Connaught, Princess Marie Louise, and the Earl and Countess of Athlone. The bride wore a gown of silver lacquered satin, with a coronet and a necklace of aquamarines and diamonds, and carried a prayer book instead of a bouquet. There were eight bridesmaids. The bridegroom was Viscount Curzon, 37-year-old son of Earl Howe. The bride is heiress to £1,500,000 from the estate of her grandfather, the late Sir Blundell Maple.
