ENGLISH SCHOOLBOYS
A CRUISE IN THE RALTIC !AJf EDUCATIONAL EXPERIMENT. (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, August 10. On Monday 836 boys from primary and central schools in England, accompanied by 280 teachers, will leave on a 12-days’ cruise to the Baltic organised by the School Journeys Association. This is the first cruise arranged for elementary schoolboys, and is in the nature of an educational experiment with the object of putting the stimulus of interest and imagination behind book knowledge of geography, and_ of promoting understanding of foreign peoples. The boys will spend three days in and around Oslo, during which Tint the party will broadcast songs from the Oslo station. The majority of the boys are from London, but a number come from northern areas.
