Lieutenant Joseph Chamberlain, son of Sir Austen Chamberlain, who is serving with the Transjordan frontier force, is reported to _ have been captured by Wahabis while on a pleasure excursion with a patrol in the Hedjaz territory. (Received July 22, at 10 a.m.) The ‘ Sunday Express ’ is informed that Lieutenant Chamberlain was in charge of two army transport cars on July 14 when he inadvertently crossed the frontier and was detained.
