CHARITY RAIL
The Charity Ball to be held in the Town Hall next Tuesday evening promises to eclipse its predecessors in brilliance. With the deserving objects of the Crippled Children’s Fund and the St. Vincent de Paul Orphanages benefiting by the proceeds, the many attractive features of this function should not fail in their combined effort to have a universal appeal. For a big and varied programme of dances Scofield’s New Collegians Band, specially augmented, has been engaged to play the latest popular numbers.
