TO THE EDITOR, ' Sir, —I read a letter in yesterday’s 1 Star ’ complaining that the destruction still goes on of our incomparable native bush. I am sure there is a resolution on the City Council’s books of some years ago that our native bush in the Woodhaugh Gardens was not to be touched. Can nothing be done to stop this despoiling of Dunedin’s chief beauty?—l am. etc. Otago Native. July 19.
