IMPROVEMENTS AT DAVENTRY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 10. The British Broadcasting Corporation is building at Daventry two new short wave transmitters, using 50 to 60 kilowatt power, which is double the present transmitter’s strength. The new installation is expected effectively' to reply to German broadcasts from Essen, which are better received in some parts of the Empire than Daventry.
