(Received May 11, at 1 a.m.) Sir Abo Bailey, in a strongly-worded and lengthy letter to the ‘ Daily Telegraph,’ says: “ Germany lost her colonies by the just verdict of the sword, a power which she imposed on prostrate Russia and Rumania in the ruthless treaties of Brest-Litovsk and Bucharest. She has no right to protest against the terms of the so-called dictated peace.” [Sir Abe Bailey, Bart, is a millionaire sportsman and farmer. He was a pioneer for the Rand, and one of the founders of the Johannesburg Turf Club. He is now living in England.]
