At Ashbury Park, New Jersey, Baer, who is training here, received a painful powder burn on the chest when he acidentally discharged a pistol containing a blank cartridge during a rehearsal of a playlet. Baer was ordered to bed because of nervous shock, although he was not seriously hurt. Officials announce that there is no likelihood of a postponement of his bout with’ Braddock on June 13.
