MARTHA JONES
Martha Jones is very old; Once I heard her say: There is something new that comes Every blessed day.
Though I’m dim about the eyes, Bad about the feet, Still there’s coal to make a fire; Still there’s bread to eat. There’s the, springtime coming soon, With the daffodils, And the little primrose flowers Scattered on tfee hills.
There’s the singing of the'birds In each great green tree. There’s a kettle singing, too. , . God bo thanked for tea!
