She subsequently fulfilled engagements with the most prominent Auckland musical societies and with Station IYA. Mrs Cronin has now made her home in Dunedin, and has been engaged by the Choral Society for its performance of

The pupils of Columba College celebrated the Jubilee of the King and Queen in quite an unusual manner on Friday morning. A pageant of Empire and procession of the Kings and Queens of England was staged by the girls under the direction of Miss Ida White, all dressed in the costumes of the period, illustrating the'old English song, ‘ A Chapter of Kings.’ Parents were invited to bo present, and Constance Hall was well fjlled with a very appreciative audience. The girls had designed and in many cases made their own costumes, and much ingenuity was shown in dressing the ‘ procession of Royal personages from Norman times until the present day. Old national games were played, and during the morning tea was served. The whole entertainment was full of colour, and was most enjoyable as well as being instructive, and will live long in the memory of even the tiny tots.
