AUTOMOBILE-PLANE,
TO BE CONSTRUCTED WASHINGTON, April 27. The Department of Commerce has awarded a contract for the building, of a hew - contrivance, a combination, lowcost automobile and aeroplane. The plane will be built by the Autogiro Company of America, Willow Grove, Pa. It will be similar in most respect a to the usual autogiro, but will have wings that fold back so that the owner can Jceep ijrin .a garage and taxi back and forth from a.flying field. , Mr John. H, Geisse, chief of the aeronautics development section of the bureau, said that tho new device would ( eliminate many things that keep the average man from flying.
