FRAGRANT LINGERIE
A very clever way to give fragrance to one’s underwear is to make a pad of georgette, with a filling of dried rose leaves, and your favourite sachet powder. Cut the material the exact size of the bottom of your lingerie drawer, just as if you were making a sofa cushion. Into a large bow) or jar put sufficient dried rose leaves to make the pad when filled about Sin thick. Then add about loz of sachet. If it is a very decided odour, ioz will most likely bo sufficient. With your fingers mix tbe sachet and rose leaves until the sachet has been Horouglijy scattered among the leaves, ’"hen fill the georgette pad. To make it a really dainty and pretty article it should be quilted with embroidery silk and bows, a« you would a patchwork quill. So when ; our lingerie h placed on the pad >! becomes impregnated with the iragrauce of thy sachet.
